Hey check this movie out, the cast seems to be a knock out. This Monday, October 23rd “Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy” will be Premiering on the lifetime channel. This film will prove to be a bold, touching and often irreverent drama that tells the story of a 27-year-old self-proclaimed gloss girl diagnosed with breast cancer, starring Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) and Jay Harrington (Desperate Housewives) and her transition to the confident woman she always wanted to be. I have seen a few of these types before but this one should actually be really entertaining

If you want to see a good movie about living through cancer, and don't mind watching English subtitles, I suggest you watch a 1952 black & white Japanese film called Ikiru.
It deals with one person's loneliness and wondering how long he will live after he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. It's a very sad film, but an excellent one I might add.

Is the film based on a book? I thought there was someone who wrote a book by that title, but I forget her name.

They actually did a segment on 20/20 last week about this amazing woman, (Geralyn Lucas), and the Lifetime film chronicling her life that's coming out. She definitely is an inspiration to alot of people. I'll be checking out the movie for sure!!
