The good news is that my leg is not broken. The bad news is that I am on crutches AGAIN. This SO bites especially at Halloween. I am having a party tonight at my house and I can't even walk.

This is SO aggrivating. Oh well, at least I have some really good friends who are helping me to set the whole party up and have said they will clean up afterwards for me.

Since I will be on crutches tonight, I have decied to change my costume yet again. Tonight I will be an injured college student http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif (I know, I know, SO creative. Hey, you gotta work with what you have)

Hope y'all have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Blair: Well, how do you like my tree?
Nat: What are bananas doing on a Palm Tree?
Blair: The bird needed something to sit on. Besides, I wanted a splash of color.
Jo: You want color? Shoot the bird!

I EMPATHIZE!!!!

I been on crutches since last December, and yesh, they ruin ideas for costumes. I was going to be a disabled Pippi Longstocking cuz of my long red hair, but I didn't feel like ruining a good coathanger, so I'm sticking to being a disabled trannie from Rocky Horror since I'm seeing the show.

Either way I'm disabled! Oh well, maybe I can scare more little kiddies that way http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

When a dog looks at you funny, it's not because you have two wooden planks on your sides, it's because he thinks you've finally learned to walk on all fours and doesn't know what to make of your intelligence.

How did you hurt your leg, Ags?
Glad the party is still going to work out.
Happy Halloween, everyone!

Someone in my family is disabled, I know what it is like, second-hand atleast. I hope you get better and pray that the injury won't come back to haunt you when you get older. By the way, you never did say how you hurt yourself. Good luck.

First off, thanks everybody. Secondly Max, this injury won't affect me when I get older, all my other injuries however probably will. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

On to how I hurt my leg, I feel kinda stupid, but here goes.

This weekend I went up to College Station where my sister lives to go watch the Aggies beat Iowa State. It was a really great game. After the game we rode the shuttle bus back to the parking lot where we had parked. We were walking across the grass to the parking lot when I stepped into a hole. I never saw it. My ankle turned and something popped when it twisted. It hurt like the dickens.

We get back to my sisters house and I took some pain medication before we went out to Northgate where we were meeting some people. (For those of you that don't know, Northgate is the area by campus where a bunch of bars are located. I was feeling alot better after we left there several hours later http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

We got home a little after 11 and then I stayed home the rest of the night because my buzz had started to wear off and my ankle was hurting again.

I'm just glad that it is not broken because I DO NOT need another cast. Been there done that, got the hat and t-shirt.

You know, I've been thinking.

I'm, supposed to fly out of state next weekend. I'm flying to Florida for a Board meeting.

Anyway, what I was thinking about was this. The airports have had pretty high security since everything happened. I will probably still be on crutches when I leave. The crutches are metal. I have on an ace bandage and the clasp is metal. It will sure be pretty interesting going through that metal detector.
