can myspace give computer viruses?

i just got a new computer. assuming i go to myspace so many times a day to add friends, read my messages, and leave comments, how likely is this to put viruses on my computer? i don't click any pop-ups or follow any links that are off to the side.

you're not going to get viruses like that....only if you download files with viruses laced in them you will.

Just stay away from the pop ups and the ads, and you'll be fine.

You can get a virus from any site, but as long as you stay away from the pop-ups and other ads, you got nothing to worry about.
