Below are the anticipated replacements waiting in the wings for this current CW 2006/2007 season. Some new, some returning.

COMEDY

Aliens In America (sitcom) (New)

Gossip Girl (drama) (New)

Gossip Girl is an American televison drama to be aired on The CW Television Network as a mid-season replacement in Spring/Summer 2007.

The pilot will be written by creator of the Fox Television Network program The O.C., Josh Schwartz. Gossip Girl is based upon the novel series by Cecily von Ziegesar of the same name, which features socialite teenagers growing up on New York's Upper East Side and going to the poshest high schools, and dealing with sex, drugs, and other adult issues.

Hidden Palms (drama) (8 episodes order) (New)

It's being written and produced by Kevin Williamson, creator of Dawson's Creek and I Know What You Did Last Summer and directed by Scott Winant (My So-Called Life, Huff).

The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll (reality) (New)

The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll is the working title for a upcoming reality series that will debut in the 2006–2007 TV season on The CW Television Network. The series will take place over the course of eight weeks. The series is a joint venture of 10 Entertainment, Pussycat Dolls, LLC, Jimmy Iovine's Interscope A&M Records, Wonderland Sound and Vision, and Warner Horizon Television

The series will follow a group of young women as they go through an audition process to join The Pussycat Dolls. The girls, who will also live together during the course of the series, will be groomed under the group's founder Robin Antin (who is also the series co-producer/creator) and will be put under the microscope as they are judged on their vocal and dancing ability. The winner will join The Pussycat Dolls as the act's seventh member alongside the current six members who will also appear in the series. Portions of the series will also air live.

I'm not kidding you guys, LMAO!!! The CW is gonna be history in a year or so if they keep this up!!!

I'll check out "Gossip Girl" and "Hidden Palms." And "Reba" for sure.
