View Full Version : Anyone else have this Weird Habit when Eating and Watching TV?

You only eat when the show is on and drink during the commercials?-lol I can't eat if the commercials are on because I want to save my food for when I'm enjoying a TV program. So during the commercials I just Drink and wait for the commercials to end. Yeah I know I'm wacky-lol

Okay, Solomon, have you been looking at me through my living room window? Because that's the EXACT same thing I do. Eat while the program is on, drink (or go to the bathroom) during commercials, for that exact same reason.

LOL-I honestly didn't expect anyone to say Yes. But yes if I'm eating some powerful why chew while a commercial is on?-lol Like you said, Chew once the Program is back on

Because that's the reason why I bought a Dining Room table and a kichen table, to eat off of. I have a TV in my kitchen but I don't have it on during Dinner, I might during breakfast.

Looks like there are more of us here :lol:

I'd honestly rather not eat at the dining room table, because my dining room chairs are uncomfortable. :( I wish I had one of these cushioned chair sets on wheels... these are awesome.

I have a husband and two little girls, so yes we sit at the table and eat dinner.

Just buy one of those Tables that you can take in the Living room and eat off of while you watch tv

Why? I'll watch TV in the morning over Breakfast just to watch the news before work. But at dinner I don't need to watch tv, that's why we have a thing called conversation :lol:

And if I'm home alone I'll sit at the table and eat my dinner or I'll read and eat. It's a habit of mine to sit at the table and eat, I've had this habit every since I was a kid.

When I'm on my own, I sometimes eat lunch in the living room when I'm watching TV. I eat and drink while the show is on, though.

We usually all have dinner at the dining room table, unless there's something on that a couple of us are really, really anxious to watch, and then sometimes even my Dad has been known to come into the living room with his dinner and eat while watching the show. That's quite rare, though, but not unheard of.
