Basicially, if you've got money, like George does, you can BUY yourself a championship team. Example: Give me one good Yankee that STARTED his career ON the Yankees. Thought so.

In the Yankees defense, this is not the same Yankees teams of the past that thought they were so much better then everyone else and lorded it over everyone else. They are hard-working and have one of the finest baseball people ever managing. The Yankees get the edge against the Mariners simply because they've been there before. Season records and stats mean nothing in October.
