What does Columbus Day mean to you?
To me, it means that it's an extra day off of school and a three day weekend! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

to me it means the day, our wonderful, united country, America, was discovered....yea, right! It really means to me a whole entire morning devoted to Jerry Springer, Ricki Lake, Jenny Jones, Maury, Ananda Lewis, and all those other full-of-crap but funny as hell shows. Then, we hafta get some Designing Women and Golden Girls in there. A little of the Price is Right ain't bad either. Finally, my favorite part of the day, some Days of Our Lives and Passions.
(I really take America into consideration, huh)

LOL http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/rotflmao.gif LOL My Columbus Day holiday was no holiday. I had to work. No only thay, but when I got off work (I took a half day) I had to take my sister back home because her car was broken down. We finally got to her apartment around 8pm. I then got something to eat and turned around and left her apartment at 9pm to head home because I had class the next morning. I got home around 2am. Tired is not even the word.

Blair: Well, how do you like my tree?
Nat: What are bananas doing on a Palm Tree?
Blair: The bird needed something to sit on. Besides, I wanted a splash of color.
Jo: You want color? Shoot the bird!

Apparantely it doesn't mean much to me. I say this because last night my friend asked me if I worked Monday. I said "Yeah. What was Monday?" He said "It was Columbus Day." So Columbus day came and went and I wasn't even aware of it.
