I'm really sorry you feel that way! Christmas has always been a special time for me since I was little! I owe that to my parents and grandparents! And since I've had my own family it is even better!
Yes, I agree , birthdays aren't so great anymore since now I am in my golden years!(50)ha ha Oh well, I do have a lot to be thankful for! I love ALL holidays! And I decorate my home for most of them!

That is a shame. In a way, I know how that feels. I've always wanted a surprise Birthday party, have never got one, and for that reason I always feel sad on that day.

I have had some depressing Christmases,too.
This year I have mainly been looking forward to the snow. The holidays are only fun if you are around the people who care about you. I am looking forward to that too.

I have never felt that way cuz I love Christmas soooo much, but I think I'm gonna be a little sad this year cuz my family is falling apart....we have always been a good family and been close, but its not that way anymore so its just not gonna be the same.
