Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

I've been thinking about the holidays too. This is probably the best time of the year. I was humming Christmas tunes in school yesterday and I was singing Christmas songs in the shower today. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Christmas is the second most depressing day of the year. My birthday is the most depressing. I envy people who can get into the 'Christmas spirit'. I've never been able to.

I'm really sorry you feel that way! Christmas has always been a special time for me since I was little! I owe that to my parents and grandparents! And since I've had my own family it is even better!
Yes, I agree , birthdays aren't so great anymore since now I am in my golden years!(50)ha ha Oh well, I do have a lot to be thankful for! I love ALL holidays! And I decorate my home for most of them!
You'll see, things will change when you start your own family!

I have just started to think about winter within this past week. Today I drove past a house that had Christmas lights on it. It made me wonder if they never took them down from last Christmas or if they just put them up extremely early this year.

I love the holidays. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I know I'm a sappy, emotional, sentimental person, but hey, I'm having a good time. I've been singing Christmas stuff, too, cause our choir does most of our performing in the holidays so we have to start getting ready Christmas music for those engagements now.

Have any of you heard "Carol of the Bells?" It's sooooo beautiful and I'm so excited casue we're doing it this year!

That is a shame. In a way, I know how that feels. I've always wanted a surprise Birthday party, have never got one, and for that reason I always feel sad on that day.

I have had some depressing Christmases, too.
This year I have mainly been looking forward to the snow. The holidays are only fun if you are around the people who care about you. I am looking forward to that too.

I have never felt that way cuz I love Christmas soooo much, but I think I'm gonna be a little sad this year cuz my family is falling apart....we have always been a good family and been close, but its not that way anymore so its just not gonna be the same. I'm gonna try to make the best out of it tho.
