I think it was unnecessary to bomb Afghanistan the way we did. There may have been a peaceful way of exposing Bin Laden. If we had only waited...
But now that it has happened, I am glad, at least, we are sending food to the poor people under oppression from the Taliban.

While I dont think war is always the answer, do you think we should just sit back and let these people attack our land with no response? Although Afghanistan is prettty much destroyed from the 10 year war they had with the USSR, these air strikes were mainly to demantle any anti aircraft missiles they may have left. The only way the air attack would be sucessful is if it killed Bin Laden, and I think thats highly unlikely. But I dont think he will make it out of this alive. I'm afraid it will take more than air strikes though. I believe this is also the begining of the end of the Taliban government in Afghanistan. God Bless the USA. And remember Freedom isn't free.
