View Full Version : The most horrible dream I've ever had...

Sorry, but I just had to share this. Because it freaked me out beyond reason.
Okay, today after school I took a nap( I've had to work the last two nights and woke up at 6 am this morning, so I was exhausted.)
Anyway, so I fell asleep. It was odd, because you rarely dream during a nap, but I did.
Anyway, it started out like this:
I was with my sister in her car down at the pier with a couple of her friends. We were just hanging out listening to music and whatnot. Then, out of no where a huge commercial jet came flying by. It crashed into the Carquinez Bridge( which is about three football fields away from this pier). Huge fireball. And ,the plane's tail stuck up from out of the water, and I could see people falling out of their seats.
I can remember seeing a mother and her child try to hold on to their seat, but fell out of the ruptured plane, falling...I turned my head, not bearing to watch.
There was just chaos, smoke everywhere.
The worst part was still coming...pieces of the wreckage came floating towards the beach...along with corpses. I vomited at the sight of them, it was so vivid, so shocking, I've never had a dream like this before.
Then news people came up to me, asking wht happened...screaming at me. Horrible...Horrible.
Just explaining it here does it no justice. It was so bad...
I'm sorry if this was pathetic or gruesome or whatever...but this was a nightmare like I've never had one before.

I guess I could ask you guys if you've ever had a dream just as horrific...just to try to make this post worth your reading...

I had a dream kind of like
that but my dream was a bit
different. In my dream, I
kept seeing bombs going off, people dying, huge flames of fire and some
serious smoke. The way it
looked in my dream, it
looked like the end of the
world. The bombs got worse,
the fire got worse and the
fire was spreading a very
distance. I'm not sure if
that's similiar, but you
saw a crash and people dying. I saw flames, bombs
and people dying.

The worst dream I ever had occurred back in 1992. It was Thursday night. I fell asleep and had a dream that there had been a really bad car crash. I could not see the people's faces, they were blurred out like they do on television sometimes. Anyway, there were a bunch of people in the back of a pickup truck and it lost control and flipped several times. Most people jumped out except for one. She was too scared to jump I guess. Anyway, police and ambulance arrive at the scene. Everybody is taken to the hospital. Most everybody was hurt except for 2 people, they were killed. The one that was in the back of the pickup truck and a girl that was riding in front. She was by the window, and when the truck flipped she hit her head on the concreet because the window was down. At the hospital, the driver was pretty upset. She didn't know that anybody had been killed yet. She was in her hospital bed when her parents came in and started yelling at her saying that she had killed her baby sister. Her sister was the one in the back of the pickup truck that did not jump.

I woke up pretty startled from this dream. I looked at my clock and it was around 2 or 3 in the morning (I don't remember anymore). What makes this dream so horrible, is what happened next.

The next day at school, the talk of the school was an accident that had happened the night before. A group of people from my high school had been in a bad wreck. Two people were killed. Allison (a senior and friend of my older sister) and Reagan a friend of mine. To say the least I was pretty shocked, but not as shocked as I was going to get. A few days later, my sister was telling me how Ryann was doing. She was driving the truck when it happened. Ryann was Reagan's older sister. She told me that Ryann had been having a really hard time because her parents were not supportive at all, in fact, when her parents found out that Reagan had died, they had burst into Ryann's room yelling at her that she had killed her sister. Ryann had taken that pretty hard because that is how she found out that her sister had been killed.

I sat there in shock. My sister asked me what was wrong, so I told her about my dream that I had had that night that the accident happened. I asked her what time Ryann had found out, and it was the same time that I had woke up and looked at my clock.

That night I had the same dream again, except this time, I saw all the faces. It was horrible. I've talked with several people who were involved in the accident. What had happened in the accident was EXACTLY what I had seen in my dream.

I was pretty freaked out for awhile after that. I didn't sleep for weeks. I just did NOT want to go to sleep again because that dream was SO vivid. I can still see it to this day.

That is so eerie! About 2 days before the Attack on the WTC- I was sitting at my computer. This feeling came over me of dread. It's weird to describe it now, but I just felt this feeling come over me like death was about to occur to somebody I knew.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

Actually, it runs in the family. My family is part Indian. For several generation, my family has had different "gifts" Some times, I don't like my gift to much like in that instance, but sometimes it can help to say goodbye. Usually my dreams are never that graphic, they never have been since that one time.

I've had some bad dreams before, but not as graphic as yours'. One was when my entire family was shot and killed in front of me, and a few days after the WTC attack, I had a dream of a plane crashing into my street.

Gee, Ags2000, your dream makes my dream look like's child's play. Absolutely shocking...

I wasn't trying to downplay your dream or anything Cookies. If it came that way I'm sorry. I agree that it was pretty shocking though

It was hard for me because I was one of the few people who had "witnessed" what had happened. It was hard to explain it to some people except for my closest friends because they already knew that I've had dreams like that before. Try explaing this to a complete stranger that you know EXACTLY what happened in an accident over 100 miles away from where I was at the time. Some people look at you in disbelief because they say that "they don't believe in that kind of stuff" In a situation like that, there is nothing that can be said because they are just convinced that you are lieing and there is nothing that can be said to convince them otherwise.

Oh well, you just have to take it all in strides. After that dream, I sat down and had a LONG talk with my parents. They told me that the gifts that all of us kid's (there are 4 of us) have, really start to develope around 14-15. The age I was. They explained that it gets stronger and sometimes changes a bit from what we were used to. It was just something that I had to accept. I also had long talks with my siblings about their gifts and different things that had happened to them.

It did help some, but I still didn't sleep a wink for weeks afterwards.

I had a dream kinda like that but not as bad about 2 weeks ago. I fell asleep while watching Behind the Terror and I dreamed that I was at the fair and then an airplane that had been hijacked flew through the Kamikaze. Then another one came and flew through the Zipper. And then there were all these airplanes destroying the rides. Cept I kinda hated it cause the planes were flying right over me and there was this freaky sound.
