HOLLYWOOD - Longtime pals Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro will re-team for a movie about their lives.
The director and Oscar-winning actor grew up in the same New York City neighborhood and have worked on a string of hit movies including Goodfellas and Raging Bull.

Now they're planning to reunite for a movie "about our life together," Scorsese confirms.

Work on the project will begin in earnest when De Niro finishes directing and starring in The Good Shepherd, alongside Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie and Joe Pesci.

Sounds like a good project. With that talent, it would be hard to go wrong.

Finally, some good movie news for a change!! Iv'e been getting so sick of all the Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise news that we've been hearing so much about lately, that it's nice to read some good news about some real Hollywood talent once again!!

Wow, that does sound really good! It will be interesting to see what the movie revolves around, be it their childhood or the entire span of their lives until now.

Martin Scorsese directed the recent movie The Departed with Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, Anthony Anderson and that movie is awesome. I just saw it Saturday. Jack's character was crazy and funny. He should win a oscar for his performance. I will be surprised if he doesn't.
