By the way, she's alive. I checked out the url I just gave you above. All it does is to tell you if the person is alive or dead and if they are deceased it may tell you the age and the cause of death.
Since she is alive you might want to do a search on Barbara Eden on the web and find out for yourself a little more on how and what she is doing. I usually type the name of the celebrity in Alta Vista and find things out like that. You may also try:

Yes, my site is not a biography site. It just lists if people are alive or dead and the appropriate dates.

If you're doing a general web search for someone famous, in my experience you get the best results searching on Google (http://www.google.com). Type the person's name followed by the word "born" and you are sure to come up with some biographical information that is useful.
