If everybody in the world would send 1 penney to the red cross or something like thats they would have plenty of money to help the victoms of the attack just think about it ok...................

Not a bad idea on the surface, but think about this....a large chunk of the world only earns about $1.00 a day or less.

I mean that many people in "third world" or "developing" countries work 8 hours or more a day in terrible conditions such as sweatshops, and they might only earn $1.00 or so for an entire day's work is.

Basically all I was trying to say is that donating "just one penny" may be literally nothing to most Americans, but you can't expect the whole world to be able to donate just one penny because they might live in abject poverty. The kind of poverty that most of us can't even imagine or fathom.

It would be a good idea for everyone in the world to donate a penny but it's not really practical. It's like that 'pay it forward' thing - great idea in theory but it'd never work in practise.
