If you were born in another time, when would it be? Who would you be? How would you live?

I have seen Grease in the theatre...it was some special anniversary release or something. It was a blast! Me and all my friends were in the second row singing our heads off and these older people in the front row kept turning around and laughoing in amazement that we actually knew all the words and were having such a fun time!
I've also seen Rocky Horror in the theatre...several times in fact. There are many theatres throughout the country that play it on a regular basis, and keep the audience participation alive. If you ever get the chance to see it that way, GO! It is a very fun time, and an experience like nothing else. 'Course it helps if the audience is really into it. Don't look for it in the mulitplexes though...look for it in the art houses.
Sorry I didn't get to your question MAx, now is the time for eating...I shall think about your question though as I do.

I'd like to live in the forties for a little while. I would be an actress and make film noir movies. My second choice would be the 80's (of course!), so I could see the original airing of FOL. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I don't know, I used to think that it would be cool to live through the 80's. But now that seems really stupid, but I'm pretty happy living right here, right now.

I would be born in about 1953. I could live my life as a hippie. Just hanging around with my buddies and sit around singing songs. I wouldn't worry about the fads or the trends, just be my own person. I could call everybody groovy. lol http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?
Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.
Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.
Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

God, I loved the 80's but I'm pretty happy right now--although I wouldn't mind going back to the 80's from time to time!
But at least I have a lot of old VHS tapes I can watch with 80's commercials and programs! It's not the same but it holds me over!:-)

Hmm...I'd to back to the 80's and be Nancy McKeon, or at least be in a position where I could meet her. OR...I'd to back to the 60's when she was born and be her best friend...

I'd go back and be MYSELF in 1990.
I was only six, but everything was so much better then.

I spent my childhood in the 50's.It was great!
My teen years in the 60's. It was ok but being a teen was not so great for me! I like being an adult!
There is no other time that I would like to live in! I happen to like and appreciate the modern conveniences! My dad always said,"The good old days, I'm glad they are gone!" I see his point!

I'd be born anytime between 1930-1935, I'd live in NYC, and I would spend my life seeing Broadway shows. My entire life.
