MASH?

Hey...I'm too lazy to comb through 15-20 pages of threads to see if this is somewhere else or not, so forgive me if it is...

Here's where I'm going so far in case anyone is interested...I'm acting like After MASH never happened.


The 2104

It’s 15 years later….1968. The Vietnam War is escalating. Casualties are being reported on the tv stations every day…Thankfully, the soldiers are getting the best care possible at a MASH unit in Korea…

Potter: Retired and running for a Senate seat. (few episodes)

Radar: Mom died, so enlisted in Army for a steady job. Foot soldier. (few episodes)

Klinger: Still living in Korea with Soon-Le. (few episodes)

Margaret: Still Head Nurse…responsible for training all the nurses stationed in Vietnam at the 2104.

Hawkeye: brought back

BJ: Out of a sense of duty, volunteers for the army

Trapper: brought back

Robbie O’Grady: Commanding officer…dies in second episode…

Frank: back from the institution, is now running the camp!

Abby Crane: The equivalent of a younger Margaret in terms of authority in original series…young (like 24-25) and perky and well-liked! Typical “girl-next-door.”

Erik Wilson: 18 years old. Black. Poor. Company clerk. Has extreme OCD and is very aggressive and mean at first, but that’s because he’s compensating and trying to hide the fact that he’s gay.

Episode 1: Robbie’s setting up camp with a few generals….they scout their location and start to assemble the list of officers to be stationed at the 2104. Margaret moves in from the 3625th Aid Station to set up a new basis for the nurse-training in Vietnam. While inspecting the OR, Robbie ushers in Frank. Instant sparks return between Margaret and he. End of episode, BJ arrives and is assigned to the same tent as Frank…again!

Episode 2: BJ convinces Robbie to write letters of request to Trap and Hawkeye to persuade them to join up. Abby and Erik arrive. End of episode, Robbie steps on mine and dies. Frank gets promoted.

Episode 3: Hawk is getting on a plane. Trapper’s on there! They sit together and talk and catch up. At camp, BJ and Frank are deluged…temp. docs are helping until permanent ones arrive. The camp mourns Robbie.

I'm going to go ahead and bump this since it's been a couple weeks....

I'm not married to this idea...I more or less really just want to write something with someone...doesn't have to be MASH, but that's the show i know most about....
