Have you ever been faced with an undesirable or unpleasant choice? I am facing such a dilemma now.

You see I want to leave my 4-H club because I can't stand my fellow members anymore and it just doesn't appeal to me like it used too.

Problem: I have certain responsibilities that I just can't abandon. If I do I would be just as irresponsible as the others are being with their duties.

What about you guys? You ever been faced with a dilemma?

ha...a bunch of them. I was offered drugs last year in school...by my 3 friends, whom I had no idea did this. Now I may be dumb, but not that dumb. My cousin died from a cocaine overdose, and I will never forget it. Just thought I would share....

Max:

It sounds to me like you've already made your decision. You should only stay if you are having fun, and you said yourself that it doesn't appeal to you anymore.

With the responsibilities that you have, I wouldn't worry about them. The 4-H club will probably give the responsibilities to another person or divide them up among the group.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

[Eddie and Lumpy suppress laughter]

Max, it is not your problem if the club is disorganized. You should not be expected to shoulder the entire responsibility of whipping the club into shape. I would say either stay, but delegate some of your duties to others, and if they refuse, leave.

Seems logical! Dilemma solved! If they won't cooperate with me then they most certainly don't need me! Thanks!
