i read that the original star trek will be reworked to something close to high def standards

they will reshoot much of the series

since the original woudlnt hold up to better defination

there are sales on the tos boxed sets right now, to move the inventory out, before the much better--so they say--version hits

Is nothing sacred, first Greedo shoots first and now this ......

ill not buy them, and i have a very nice set now

so its no big thrill to me

i didnt have a colored tv until i was 19

so the first time i watched them was on static filled nasty tv 15 inch black ans white

i remember how it was --back in the day

we had one channel until i was 17

and reception was very miss or miss even more

ill take the nice tos set that was released a year or two ago

i think its just great


but some folks are after the very best

and its their money

paramount must believe they are going to turn a nice coin, i didnt see a production cost, but it must be a huge figure

"Director" cuts on every imaginable movie

even wrestling dvds (the wrestlemania sets, all cut out Jesse Venturas commentary so they dont have to pay him---- leaving LOTS of dead air!)

enough allready----- there is a reason that we love this older things
