So I got hit by a truck...

Some of you may already know about it, some may not, so let me walk you through what happend.


I was jogging across the street to tell my cheerleading coach not to worry about me, that I was riding with my father that night and then out of no-freakin-where some idiot hits me. I remember feeling the hood of the car on my skin, but I don't remember seeing anything. I woke up on the ground with 25451378 people around me. (all the cheerleaders, danceline, and band saw it. They're all tramatized.) Then I was rushed to the trama center and they sent me home a few hours later.
The man who hit me was about 50 and was driving a Ford truck, according to my dad. It took about 5 coaches to pull my dad off the guy that hit me. I've gotten countless phone calls, flowers, cards, etc. I'm truely blessed that there was no internal bleeding, and that I left with some really bad brusing on my legs, pelvis, and ass; along with some road rash. (that rymed *giggle*) I'll try and be on at least once a day, but I can't really sit up without feeling dizy. Plus it's hell to walk anywhere. >_<

Getting hit by a car isnt not a big deal. My cousin got hit by a car and luckily was okay. Someone I went to school with got hit by a car and lost an eye. So I would be more concerned over a friend than a celebrity.

Glad to hear you're all right. Unfortunately, the son of my dad's friend was hit by a car and was not fortunate enough to survive. Since then, his wife kicked him out of the house. At least you walked away without serious injuries.

yeah it kind of surprised me how casually she seemed to take it. the number of people you know who have been hit by a car doesn't determine how big of a deal it is, she's lucky that you and those other people lived, because i had a friend who died that way.

I got so mad when you posted about how your friend thinks it's no big deal to be hit by a car. My mom's friend just died yesterday in a car accident and I've had many friends and family die in car accidents, more died than walked away. Car accidents are NOT to be taken lightly. Yeah, Neither he nor his insurance company has called so we're thinking that he doesn't have any (insurance). We have a lawyer now and a PI came and asked me questions and took some pictures.

Just do what the doctor says and it will be fine. At least it's healing very quickly. As long as you're all right, that's all that matters.
