My parents have been married almost 24 years in June. They act like a young couple it's so funny to see two people in love. They meet in 1978 and three weeks later they were married. They had known eactohther there entire lives.

Same with my parents they know each other there whole lives, actually there fathers were best friends. But my parents didn't start dating till my mom was a seinor and after she graduated they got married and now on the 1st they celebrated there 30th anniversary.

Mine aren't. They've been married 22-24 years, I'm not sure. They started dating when my mom was 12 and my dad was 14. They got maried a year after they graduated (though two years apart, they graduated the same year. My dad repeated 3rd grade, and my mom didn't have to go her senior year)

i understand. this weekend proved that to me....but my parents are together and have been for like over 20 years....i'd choose to live with my mom though, if they did...as annoying as she is....

Mine are technically still married since my dad won't sign the last paper. Before they seperated they had been married for 20 years. They've been seperated for about five years now, since I was twelve. Oh my god, was that a weird time in my life. It was difficult, but I wouldn't be the same person I am today if it hadn't happened. Totally made me get a whole other outlook on life, and to grow up- if you will. I don't regret that it happened nor was it a good thing. Everything happens for a reason.

I totally understand what you're saying. My parents divorced when I was 8 and I was so glad when my dad left. He got remarried a few years later. I'm almost 30 now and my relationship with my dad is a lot better now than when I was small.

They are split up and in the process of a divorce, but I think it was for the better. When I was little my dad caused alot of abuse to my brother and sometimes even me, he would get really angry at my mom and they would just blow up. It's not that I hate my dad but I'd rather have him disappear... The night they split up he came over and busted the glass on our window, he can be nice at times but his anger just gets waaaaaaay too far. So I'm with my mom now and it's joint custody for now.
