Well, I didn't go to school today, but not because of this. I've been sick to my stomach since second period and actually threw up for the first time in 8 years. If my stomach had started hurting in third period I would know think it was because this whole thing has left me scared and nauseous. But it started in second period, before I'd hurt about the whole horrible ordeal. I actaully wanted to go to school, because I have a test today and we're learning something new in math and we're discussing a novel that we have a test on tomorrow and without the discussion I'm going to fail the test because I'll have no idea what they're talking about.

I totally agree with you. And even though I know how important it is for us to maintain our normal routines, today I found it extremely hard trying to go about business as usual. It just did not feel right on such a tragic day. I did not feel like listening to a professor lecturing when all this is going on. It seemed so irrelevant. I know I probably would not have felt any better anywhere else but it was a weird feeling today, trying to carry on as usual without much success. I think we need to make sure we also take time to mourn, no matter what form that takes.
