We had a memorial service thing at school today. It was optional to attend. it was originally supposed to be around the flag pole during lunch, but because of rain, it was moved into the gym. Almost 100% of our school attended.(The only ones who didn't attend were the ones who felt very strongly about the seperation of church and state and prayer in school issue.) About 15 clergypeople from local churches and other places of worships came to comfort students who needed it. I was just wondering if anyone else had a prayer service like this at school?

No, I wish we would have. That would have been very nice. We just had a minute of silence during first period.

I'm part of a youth group at my parish, where at my scool for 7th 8th and 9th graders we all meet in the gym on friday nights from 730 to 10 and we can play basketball or just hang out with our friends, and tonight, we went over to the church in the dark and lit candles and had a little prayer service...I was happy about that and because our priest asked me to read a reading, so I felt really honored http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif It makes me feel a lot better to go to church and to get to pray for all of those affected by this national tragedy.... God Bless America

Yeah, we prayed about 3 different times...I go to a private school, so that is not a problem. We prayed 1st period, 3rd period, and 4th period.

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are going to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon and Jay Harrington, and you're not. And by the way...this is our own original idea and we do not appreciate people copying us. So don't.

Jinny: Oh, come on, folks, please, don't be shy. Apparently anyone is welcome to crap all over me tonight, so please, step right on up!

Freddy: Now your gonna need a nut doctor!

Darrell: Listen, I don't know what kind of greasy, rubber nigga your sleepin' with...

We did. Around the flagpole. The entire school, save 1 or 2 students and 1 or 2 office personnel were there.

Unfortunately, I had to leave in the middle of it. I broke my tooth during lunch and had to leave to get it fixed....

Anyway, yeah we did. Everyone but 1 or 2 people were there.
