Um, yeah... just a stupid, little poem I wrote. I usually find it easier to express myself in writing than verbally so I wrote this... It's dumb, but oh well.
We Still Stand
A day that touched the hearts of all
The worst we ever knew
Has caused a stumble, not a fall
Now what do we do?
We're filled with anger, filled with hate
At those who caused us fear
But all of this was caused by fate--
By our Lord we hold so dear
We feel the horror, hurt, and tears,
The sadness, loss, and pain
That we'll remember all our years
As one people, we remain
We'll stand united, as time does lapse
But in our hearts, a void
From the day our beloved bubble collapsed
The perfect world we knew, destroyed.
