HOLLYWOOD - Zach Braff loves making movies so much, he has quit his role in Scrubs to concentrate on his film career.
Braff, who plays Dr John 'JD' Dorian in the TV comedy, realized his future lies on the big screen after the success of Garden State, which he wrote, directed and starred in.

He tells Premiere magazine, "My guess is that this will be my last season (on Scrubs).

"Whether or not they continue without me, I don't know. I have had this amazing run on the show and I love it and I'm so grateful, but I want to make movies full time."

Been fun watching Scrubs these last several years. It'll be sad to see it go. (They WOULDN'T go on without Zach/JD...WOULD they?)

I don't think they COULD make Scrubs without J.D. I mean, there are certainly characters I'd try watching for - I love Turk and Dr. Cox tons, but the whole premise of the show is that it's from J.D.'s POV.

I'll be sad to see it go if this is the end. I don't think it ever got the kind of critical and ratings acclaim that I think it deserves.

I have a feeling this upcoming season will be their last. They will cancel it and replace it with another lame reality show, unfunny sitcom, or procedural drama.

At this point I almost welcome any attempt at a sitcom.

Zach Braff might rue the day he ended Scrubs.

Garden State was great, but that is no guarantee of anything.
At least in the acting field.
