A friend of mine wondered about this recently. It may have been talked about before. But it's a good thought nonetheless.

If John Lennon had remained living in England after the Beatles'breakup in 1970,would he still be alive today?
Perhaps if John and Yoko had never moved to New York City, the infamous tragedy of December 8 1980 would never have occurred.

Needless to say if he were still alive today,he would be exactly 66 years old.

Well, he who shall not be named did fly from Hawaii to New York City to "get the job done." Who's to say he wouldn't have flown from Hawaii to England?

Besides, even if John weren't shot, nobody knows if he'd still be alive today. Who knows what would have happened between now and then? 26 years is a long time.

Exactly. If that person wanted him dead so bad, he would have followed him anywhere.

John came to make America his home because he loved New York and the freedom he had to walk around and not be bothered. Obviously something England couldn't offer him.
