At long last

Usually I don't draw attention to my birthday, but in this case I will make an exception. Today is my 21st birthday so I can finally go into a restaurant and order a glass of wine with dinner, or a margarita in the case of tonight's plans. I do have class at 9:30 tomorrow morning so it will not be a long night, but all homework for tomorrow has been taken care of!

That must suck not being able to drink till you're 21. In Scotland you're allowed to drink at 18.

I am happy to report that no, I did not get trashed, but I was not sober. Three margaritas does that to you. When your mother tells you to put the dinner on the credit card and she'll pay it you can't disappoint?! My two friends and I shared a pitcher of margaritas, using the logic that a pitcher would be cheaper then each of us ordering our own, and we all made it to our Thursday morning classes. I was even the first one ready for breakfast which is saying a lot because one, I hardly ever go to breakfast and two, I had the most to drink!!
