The ones that I'd like are not available online. If I have a song in mind how do I change the format to make it polyphonic and upload it in my phone?

I was told about this wonderful website last year:
http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php
You can click on "Upload Ringtone" and upload ringtones to your cell phone by typing in your phone number. It may or may not be free. It all depends on what type of phone service your company offers. But anyway, you just upload a MIDI file (formats, according to them, that are uploadable are: midi, mp3*, qcp, aac*, mmf, m4a, wav, amr) and it gets sent as a text message to download it onto your phone.
This website does not charge for uploading ringtones, but it depends on your own cellphone's text messaging service. This website just helps you upload files and then sends you a text message of the URL of your upload.
The * indicate: "*MP3 format is supported primarily by the latest versions of Motorola Phones, Nokia Phones, Smart Phones, and Verizon MMS Phones. Some Verizon MMS phones have a size limitation of 30k.
*AAC (MP4 Audio) format is supported primarily by Multimedia Phones."
I have used this website to upload some ringtones, but I think your best bet would be to find/edit an audio file straight to your preferred song's "chorus"; otherwise, it'll play the beginning of the song.
Good luck!! :)

Ok, that is some help. :)
I got most of it figured out now; when my phone receives the msg of the download I get an error message of 'Page cannot be displayed'.

Really? Oh, man.... that sucks. :( Have you tried using another audio file?
Hmmm.... I am trying to remember how it was like for me, or if I had to do something special to that URL. It's been nearly a year ago since I have accessed that website. There must be something missing from that URL that's not being placed properly onto the browser window. That's the explanation I can think of.

The error msg appears on my phone not on the webpage.:)
There's an option for the phone in that website if it has internet access or not; I tried both. Still looking.:o
