Amen!!! I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE math!!!!!
Like you, I also think science is a close second.

Hang in there though! Just remember, it's not like anyone is ever going to ask you to recite the quadratic formula after algebra!!

I hate math with a passion! I got a D in the last semester of high school in my Pre-Cal class cuz it was so boring and difficult. I simply wasn't motivated to work hard in that class, LOL. :grr:

SO TRUE! lol Yeah, add me to the "I hate math" club, too. Even today, at work if I need to calculate something, I grab a calculator if I can't figure it out in my head easily! If you take away the calculator, then I'm pretty much lost, hehe.

I actually loved math up until I got to the higher levels. I could understand basic algebra, geometry, and trig, but after that I just couldn't stand the subject anymore.

I loved biology and anatomy/physiology but I hated chemistry and physics with a passion.

My least favorite thing of all in high school was having to read books I had zero interest in and then write a report analyzing what I read :barf:

Count in me too cause i hate math as well!!!

Trying to remember different formulas to solve math problems is the hard part.

And im not a big fan of science either, because science and math come together.

Geometry wrecked my whole summer this year cause i had to go to summer school! for the 1st part of geo. During the reg. school year i got a D in the 1st part and a B in the 2nd part. During summer i finished with a C in both parts even tho I got an 8/32 lol! on the last test!

When I was in school my least favorite subject was reading comprehension. In seventh and eighth grade (as well as elementary school if memory serves) English was grammar (a strength of mine) and reading comprehension a separate course (optional in eighth grade). Reading comprehension was easy if I had to answer questions on one or two sentences, but books were like thousands of sentences if you get my drift.

In ninth grade reading comprehension and English/grammar were merged into the same course with the combined product called English, and ultimately grammar was ditched altogether. (I pity Kevin Arnold and his cronies on The Wonder Years who had the two combined in seventh grade!) Fortunately there was vocabulary (another strength) mixed in, which probably played a major role in me passing.

Completely and utterly depends on the teacher. So far...french. I'm not a huge fan of maths, but at least I understand the language they're teaching in so I can turn to the right page and pretend to work.

I used to hate math. I got a tutor a year and half ago, and I understand things alot better now. I still don't like math at all, but I can actually do it now  Science is my least favorite subject. I'm almost failing, but I don't even care anymore.

back when i was in school
we didnt get SEX ED until we were like 15 (by then we allready knew or allready had!)
and the teacher who taught it was someone who had OBVIOUSLY never had sex and never would

it was really simplistic and childish and we used to raise our hands and ask really "inappropriate" questions about explicit sex acts
just to embarass him and we'd all laugh

Every class is the worst. Of course that would come from someone who hated school with a passion. For me, it was Math B. Math A was algebra, which was fairly easy. Math B was geometry and trig. I managed to pass Math B with a 66 but I got a 23 on the regents. Even with a curve, I only ended up with a 40.

I guess Math is my worst even though I'm in Advanced Math.

Fortunately, I never had a 'worst' subject, but then I was never a 4.0 student either.

AMEN. Story of my college life. I abhored forced reading. And having to overanalyze a book was so beyond pointless...everyone is going to interpret a story different, so looking for hidden meaning and whatnot is a waste of time because there is no right or wrong answer.

I never took anatomy/physiology in school until after I graduated from college, but that's really the only science I understand and enjoy. Chem was alright in HS...hated Biology and Physical Science...never even attempted Physics.

Never a math fan. Government and Western Civ bored me to tears, I actually hated art class, PE...THE WORST THING EVER.

Basically I only enjoyed Geography and in college, film and fiction writing classes.

i hate english.
i hate having options.
like "you could word it this way"
or
"write about this..."

i love math
there are no options.
everything is set.

does any of this make sense?

I often wonder how i graduated as english, math, science, & biology were all tuff to me. I never really could get anyone to help me very much which made it tuffer to pass. I'm not dumb but back then i guess i didn't have very keen book smarts, is all.

Definitely math. If you don't pay attention for a split second, you're lost. At least for me. And I just hate the way you really have to think and kill all those brain cells for something you're never gonna use in real life. I do not look forward to going back to math class next month. Worst subject ever.

I was soooooo bad at math classes. I loved English (ended up majoring in it) but math was, like, the bane of my life. Hated it.

Math is pretty much the only subject I can't stand. I never had to take chemistry or physics in high school, and I absolutely LOVED Biology. Earth Science was pretty tough but I did get through it (same with Geology, which I took last semester in college).

English has always been my strong point and always will be :) Psychology is a very close second.

...I admit, I'm not the greatest at the various humanities-type subjects (Art, Music, Drama, etc). A lot would say I'm not the greatest at math, given I've failed Math here at WKU twice - but that was because I never showed up, not because I didn't get it.

Same here.I loved math until the second semester of geometry.I did crappy in algebra 2 so I transferred to a class that was basic geometry

Trig is like cosine, sine, tangent and that stuff. Here in New York, we have Math A and Math B. Trig was in Math B. Math B actually started off with algebra and geometry which I didn't do that bad in(me getting good grades is rare). The second half of the year was trig and I struggled. I passed with a 66 so I was happy.
