Ooooh...obviously I haven't been coming to the chit-chat board for very long. Oh well, it doesn't hurt to make a new thread of the same topic, I guess. New people have registered since and may be interested anyhow.

I'll answer my own question: I am afraid of airplanes, making public speeches, and cockroaches.

I'll tell you what my greatest fear USED to be. Growing up, my dad was in the Navy. My greatest fear was that one day there would be a knock at the door, and when we opened it, it would be the men in white.

For those of you that don't know the military and have no idea what this is talking about, I'll explain.

If anything happens to a service member, members of the military, usually the Comanding Officer, Executive Officer, Command Master Chief, and the Chaplain show up in their dress whites. They are usually accompanied by the Ombudsman who is the spouse of someone in the squadron and is the laison between the military and the families. If the C.O., X.O., and C.M.C. are unavailable for one reason or another, then some other high ranking officials will come to your door to deliver the news that something has happened.

That was always my worst fear growing up, that something would happen to dad when he was on the ship. He has had his fair share of close calls, but he was lucky all 26 years.

we I'm not afraid of anything but i guess the thing that I'd fear the most would have to be being in a car,train,airplane wreck that would be very very bad but the chances of that happening are slim like 1 in a 1,000,000 so I'm not to scared of it but thats what i think i would be scared of


P.S.im fixing to go on a trip by plane or bus i dont know yet but when i do well if by plane then id be a little scared!!!!!!

I've gotten them before, but to me the only reason I'd take a B over an F is the fact that colleges most likely like Bs more than Fs. If I get a B, I feel like I've failed).
