New to boards today

Hey ya'll...I'm Annie. I live in Indianapolis, In. I love sitcoms, altho I am not an expert on any of them :o . My favs are those from the 70's and 80's...the Nick at night stuff and shows like Knots Landing and the Law and Order shows. I am looking now tho for a specific "After School Speicial" from back in the day. I have no idea what the name of it is. But it starred Ally Sheedy (I believe) as a young mom who was forced to give up her little girl because she couldn't afford to take care of her, so she made arrangements with her social worker to meet them at a local park where (Sheedy) would 'abandon' her little girl and the social worker would be there to take her and place her with a good family. I always loved the after school specials!
I'm also looking for Knots Landing DVDs! I loved that show!

A quick online search turned up "I Think I'm Having a Baby" (1981), not included on any of the AfterSchool Specials dvds.
