Do you watch TV more or less than you did 10-15 years ago?

When I was in middle school and high school during the 1990's, I had something to watch on TV every night. I'd watch TV for about two to four hours a day. (A little less on school days, of course.) Nowadays, I hardly turn the TV on. There are only two current shows that I watch. Usually, I just watch reruns or DVD's of an older show or CMT. I hardly watch TV for more than an hour. Some days, the only thing I watch is the local news.

Much, much less, now. There are more channels than ever, but 95% of the programming, in my opinion is crap.

It depends on how you define "watching TV." I watch fewer new shows because I find more enjoyment watching video tapes and DVDs of classic
shows (as well as repeats on channels like TV Land). Still, there are a few
new network prime-time offerings that I like (esp. SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL,
GHOST WHISPERER, REBA, KING OF QUEENS, etc.).

I watch considerably less TV now than I did 10-15 years ago. Hell, I watch it about the same amount of time up until about a year ago when I began living alone.

Less. I watched a lot of TV back then...now, in the summer anyway, there are days I don't watch TV at all.

15 years ago I didn't work a regular "9 to 5" type schedule, so I was never home to watch.

I watch alot more...since I wasn't born 15 years ago :lol: But, up until I was about 5, I'd only watch a few shows, mostly cartoons.

I watch less, since I work during the day and some evenings and plus there's really not much on anymore that interest me.

I probably watch about the same although I watch more dramas now and I don't watch it hardly at all during the summer.

I watch about the same. Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite really had me occupied when I was little (this was back in the days, children, when Nickelodeon aired Salute Your Shorts and Nick at Nite aired classic 50s and 60s shows and we all had to grind our own flour) Now it's GSN and Court TV. Those channels have filled in really well for the summer.

Hardly any at all, but i've never been an avid watcher funny but i am constantly buying movies and stuff for my collection. I watch about one movie a week so to speak but other than the news at night on cnn, i don't watch any tv.
