Why not just call it sodapop?

Yeah, EVERYONE does. I've actually never met anyone who called it anything other than Pop. Not that I know many people, but yeah. This is definetly "POP" country.

Even the local soft drink companies have the word Pop on the bottles. Like Faygo Red Pop which is strawberry flavored. :lol:

I don't think anyone calls it that in the Northeast. Atleast not in Jersey.

lol around here no one EVER calls it pop. it's soda.

and we dont have local soft drink companies :)

and besides on TV shows, they usually call it SODA :happyface

soda is what it's called. when you get a bottle of soda usually it'll say soda on it if it says anything, not POP :mad:
Not here. I don't know if it's different in different regions, even on bottles, but I have a Coke bottle right next to me and it says Soda NOWHERE. :lol:

my mom doesn't buy SODA anymore cause it makes people fat :( i get it at restaraunts though.

You don't have local soft drink companies because they're still trying to make Pop out of BAKING SODA-LOL

And do you think I CARE about what Hollywood thinks? That's unrealistic anyways.
