Your favorite hobbies?

Ok, I know we've kind of talked about it before on the FOL board, but at that time we were examining "what else" we like besides FOL.

How about your favorite hobbies- other than watching TV? I like basketball, swimming, boating, and traveling, to name a few.

Reading and writing. And I'm an internet junkie. I'm not an outdoors person, but I do like softball. Oh, and I love shopping. I got new shoes today http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Now I'm happy.

I stay here mostly. But when I'm not on or busy I enjoy running. Somethimes I even shoulder-roll. Thats fun except when I land to hard. Then it just hurts.

I enjoy listening to music, working on my maybe-someday-it-will-be-completed-website, reading, drawing, making creatively crafty things for people, going to the movies, surfing the 'net, chatting on message boards (duh), cooing at my pet rats, and making fun of/playing jokes on my roommates (seriously, that last one is almost a part-time job. We really get into it.)

I love to write, and building things with my hands. I love to put together model planes, cars etc. I but together a lego Jeff Gordon Nascar car. It looks really cool. I love working on my truck as well. I love to make things around the house, I recently helped to build some shelves for my mom. I am also in the process of sanding down an old bookcase for my mom so I can repaint it.

So basically, if it has to do with doing creative things and working with my hands, I like to do it.

I like playing, reading, writing, going on my computer mostly for the internet and I also really like to draw. I like playing my insturments a lot and I like music, mostly classical. I like watching t.v. but not alot. Today I probably only watched an hour of t.v.,like most days except when my favorite shows come on, then I'll watch like 2 hours or 3 or something.

I know what you mean. It doesn't seem like you are posting that much and then you look at your number and bam. There you go. I didn't even realize I had passed 100 until I was at like 123 or something. I am now at 176 I think, pretty soon I will be at 200.

Well, other than television - which, I regret to admit is probably the most important thing in my sad little life - I don't really have that many hobbies. I listen to a lot of music (mostly rock) and I play bass guitar. I started playing when I was 14 so I'm actually surprised that I still enjoy it cos normally I have a very short attention span for things like that! I collect DVD's, I'm very interested in stuff like that - not just the movies that are on them but the whole technical side of it aswell. I read a lot of 'Home Cinema' type magazines. I also read a lot of movie magazines even although I don't go to the movies that often - I usually just wait for films to come out to rent before I see them.
And I spend waaaaaay too much time on the internet, usually hanging around on message boards just like this one.

im really into tvs and movies and things like that so i get my friends and we go to a lot of movies, i love playing sports, hockey is my favorite, i like soccer but i dont play anymore yet im still better then most the freshman team, i love to play basketball and lacrosse. Next year i am doing crew~ i have always wanted to learn how to box or ride motorcross~i use to rollerblad until a freak accident last year and im scared for life~i like to ride my bike too...sweet ride, and i love hanging out with my friends

Been there. I broke two ribs and scraped off almost all the skin on one of my thighs in 1995. Haven't been able to blade since.

Now, I love doing schoolwork, too (especially math), but I would never go as far as to say I actually love school itself. I'm the only one who hates school, but not because of the classes and teachers and homework? That's not what bugs me. It's the whole social pyramid thing. It annoys the hell out of me. That's why I don't enjoy school. (I'm also not a fan of getting up early)

it wasnt really a FREAK accident but it was an accident and i looked like a freak doing it-

ok so it was forth of july and me and my friends were rollering blading down a big hill(she lives in a deserted area) and i thought i could handle it cuz i was a preety good rollerblader too and so i dont know why but i was wearing street hockey rollerblads and there was no break and so i trying to figure out how to stop and wasnt paying attention so i triped over a edge of the street and then fell and continued to roll down the hill and at the bottom my left arm went right into a pole and sprained it badly and on top of that i had so many cuts and bruises and now scars and i will not go rollerblading again.........
