Does anyone have any wacky (like not ear) piercings, or tattoos?

The only thing I have is I have my ears pierced. I have wanted to get a tongue piercing for a long time now, but I never have, and in a way, I almost feel like I am getting too old to get one.

I don't have any tattoos, but I don't have a desire for one either. I like some tattoos, generally the ones where someone gets an original piece of artwork, they're just not for me.

How 'bout you? If you don't have any funky piercings or tattoos, do you want any?

Uh...just like you, I've got my ears pierced (in the "traditional" fleshy area, of course). Tatoos and body piercing on other people doesn't bother me, but I myself would never bother with that.

I just have my ears pierced, but I never wear earrings. They annoy me. My mother, on the other hand, is different. She's had two holes in each ear for quite some time. Then when she was 38 she got the top part of one ear pierced. That didn't really bother me. But when she was 39 she got her navel pierced. That one kind of bothered me. And for her 40th birthday, she got a tattoo (prompting my 18 year old sister to go out and get one too. At least my dad didn't.). Now, on other people, I don't mind belly button rings or tattoos or even eyebrow or tongue piercings. But on my middle-aged mother, it's just really WEIRD. Am I insane or would it bother you if your mother did that? Maybe I am insane, but it bugged me.

"The advertisements for the show say 'Gwen Verdon as Sweet Charity.' Note that as 'as.' Not 'starring in' or just plain 'in' or even 'in the new musical,' but 'as.' She is that girl. She is Sweet Charity and forever will be."

That might bug me a little too. It would probably really bug me right after it got done, just because I had to get used to it. It would probably bug me alot more if I were younger.

Just a word of advice - DON'T!!!
Getting the top of your ear pierced doesn't actually hurt at the time but I've had mine for almost 2 years now and it still hasn't healed properly. Rather foolishly, earlier this year, I thought it'd look cool if I had 2 earrings at the top of my ear so I got it pierced again and it hasn't healed up either.
Right at this very moment in time the top of my left ear is extremely swollen and an incredibly unattractive shade of purple! It hurts like hell and I can't even take the earrings out cos my ear is so swollen!
Don't say you weren't warned...

I've had the "top part" of my ear pierced for over a year and I've had no problems. For the first few days, it was uncomfortable sleeping on it, so I slept on the other side. See? No big deal. It healed right away, and I haven't had a problem since. I'm not even consciously away of it at all times. I like the way it looks, and haven't had a problem with it. But, I guess some people just can't get that part of the ear pierced. *I* however, would not strongly suggest that you NOT get one. I would recommend that you get one if you want. To each his own.

I have my ears pierced plus my belly button. It's not that bad, but I don't think I could ever have any other part of my body pierced.

I only have my ears pierced...I don't want any other piercings, and I would never get a tattoo. It's just not me.

I have two holes in both ears, but other than that my extreme fear of needles prevents me from any other piercings. My father would kill me if I came home with anything other then my ears pierced though. I have absolutely no interest in tattoos. My friend thinks we should all go and get tattoos when we graduate from college, but I refuse. Needles really freak me out. I can't even stand getting shots.

I had my noise pierced when I was younger, but I've let it grow in after it stopped being a rebellious thing and became pretty mainstream. I've toyed with the idea of a tattoo on several occasions, but I always chicken out. I can't settle on a design that I think I will love forever. What I found to be an awesome graphic when I was 17 sort of makes me roll my eyes as I am nearing closer to the big 3-0. Good god.

Ears only... My mom prolly wouldn't let me get anything else done... She refused too ket me peirce my ears for like 6 years! But one day I will prolly get my belly button pierced then hate it and never wear it, or get something done and hate it and get it undone... Thats how I am. Except for tatoos... They bug me. No offense or anything

Just imagine how ugly a tattoo will look say in 40 or 50 years! Hanging down around ones knees or elbows! Yuk! As for piercings, they can be hidden.
