What am I?

Ummm....a dog? Since a "young" dog (human years) can be old in dog years.

A piece of rock? See, the rock itself is old, but the piece is young in comparison because it was a part of the rock before becoming a piece of a rock...
It makes sense to me.

"The advertisements for the show say 'Gwen Verdon as Sweet Charity.' Note that as 'as.' Not 'starring in' or just plain 'in' or even 'in the new musical,' but 'as.' She is that girl. She is Sweet Charity and forever will be."

A thought of dog at first, too, then I thought that a lot of animals have different age processes. A cat is supposedly the same as a dog (so I've heard) in that 1 cat year equals 7 human years.
