I need to know how many car accidents vs. motorcycle accidents there are.

Max, I'm not going to do all the research for you, because you can compile that. But I will say that Google is one of the best search engines out there, and if you go to www.google.com (http://www.google.com) and do a search there, I'm sure you'll come up with a wealth of info.
Good luck.

Thanks Boots. I'll check there.
No, FOL & DS fan 4ever. It's just that I want a motorcycle and everyone around me keep saying they are too dangerous. I'm trying to prove to them that cars are just as dangerous.

Well buddy I know you don't want to hear it, but I think motorcycles are more dangerous. Be careful if you get one. Here is some stuff I found on a quick search of google:
Here is the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's web page, you might find some stats there, but I'm not sure.
NHTSA (http://www.dot.gov/affairs/nhtsain.htm)
I don't know how much you have studied statistics, but keep in mind, you need to be looking at per capita or percentage numbers. You can't just look at raw numbers. Sure, there are more car accidents every year than there are motorcycle accidents, but that is a meaningless statistic since there are alot more cars on the road.

Just to let you know Max, Bootsy is right. My father had an accident on his motorcycle back in the 70's. Of course, he was hit by a car, but still....

I hope he is ok.
I understand and I'm opened to some new ideas and will change my plans if the odds get to hot for me. I realize many don't trust something like a motor bike. But either way I will be carefull.
