I used to watch this prison movie over and over and over at the age of 9-lol It was a great movie from Start to Finish and I would like to watch it again. This had to be Sean Penn's Best Movie

That was a great movie. Probably my second favorite Sean Penn film, right after At Close Range. I love the part where Sean buys a bunch of sodas, puts them in a pillow case, and beats the **** out of that prison guard who was harrassing him. He literally served up a few cans of whoop ass on that punk!!

I love this movie , but not as much as At Close Range.

I bought the vhs tape when it first came out, it was a great movie. Esai Morales as the badguy, way way before La Bamba. I remember seeing this film at the movies.
