Right now I'm in college. To be honest, I have no idea why I'm there. I'm tired of taking classes that I know I'll never ever need. For instance, why would I need to know Texas Government in order to graduate from College? I want to take classes that will actually get me somewhere for a career. That's why I was thinking of going to trade school, because they teach you exactly what you need to know for your job. Should I quit college and go to a Trade School for something? Maybe Medical Assisting or a Pharmacy Technician? I really could use some advice. I feel lost.

Me, I would. Could be the pessimism talking, because I haven't used my degree at all. But take those 2 things you mentioned. I've interviewed for similar positions...I've read all the want ads. They're more interested in your skills at the job, and a trade school will definetly help that. They also want experience.....but that's a rant for another time.
Plus if you're not sure what you want to do anyway, why waste the money at a 4 year? Give trade school a chance. It's not like you are abandoning school all together.
Oh, and I have certificated in both Medical Front Office (didn't know if you were shooting for front or back), and Pharm Tech, so if you choose to explore those, lemme know if you need help. :)

That always bugged me that colleges make you take all these unnecessary classes that have nothing to do with your major. I guess anyway they can get more money from you.
I'm not really sure how trade school goes but maybe if you go they'll have job placement and the place you end up working for will have tuition reimbursement. It wouldn't hurt to check into it. It might be a whole lot cheaper, too!!
