I probably will just out of curiosity. Here's the films synopsis and trailer.

Sylvester Stallone's iconic boxer steps back into the ring for one final shot at glory in the belated final entry into the long-running film series that shot the popular action icon to superstardom in the mid-1970s. Rocky Balboa has long been retired from the sport of boxing, though after suffering a devestating personal tragedy and being personally challenged by a formidable up and comer, the ageing prizefighter vows to get back in shape and defend his standing against a new breed of figher whose powerful pugilistic skills threaten to tag a grim coda onto Balboa's enduring legacy. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

I think it's gonna be a bomb and fail. Rocky's last movie should've never happened.

I'll check it out since i'm a Stallone fan. I've seen most of his movies. I think he shouldn't have made a new Rocky movie. 5 Rocky's are enough.

There is a great photo of Sly duking it out in the ring in this week's Entertainment weekly. Will I go see it? Maybe.

The guy who beat Roy Jones JR twice, and recently lost a fight to Bernard Hopkins (Antonio Tarver) plays the guy that Rocky fights in the movie. I think the film has a good premise, and can actually be good. Hopefully they didn't just put the good clips in the trailer, while the rest of the movie's crap, but I doubt that. If it's good, I'll probably see it atleast a couple times in theatres.

I'll see it, but I'll wait till it comes out on dvd.

I think there's no doubt about that.

Unless I have the opportunity to get out to the movies when absolutely nothing worthwhile fits my timeslot.

I'd see it then.

The story in this film really isn't all that far-fetched actually. Just look at George Foreman. He came back to boxing at age 45, and actually won the title, and has even been hinting at making a return today, so the storyline for this film isn't unrealistic at all. I love the fact that they're using a real boxing Champion like Antonio Tarver as well. I think that adds some real authenticity to the story.

Btw, did anyone else enjoy Rocky 5 as much as I did?? Aside from the first Rocky, it was my favorite of the whole series. It told the classic and age old tale of the boxer who was once on top of the world, only to lose it all due to bad luck, and health problems. Once again, a very common thing in the world of professional boxing.

Rocky 5 was my favorite sequel after the original as well. It's ashame how people put the 5th down and call it the worst. I'll be seeing Rocky Balboa.
