I work at a movie theater, so I'll tell you that we sold out of EVERY SINGLE SHOW on opening night. We even had to add a late late late night show at 11:40 PM at the last minute, and that sold out as well. Awesome.

The movie is getting Crazy reponce.
"Pirates" took alot of business away from"Suprman Returns," which has the folks at Warner Bros. worried. Is the man of steel gonna bomb out this summer?

When I say a long way to go to beat titanic, just take a look at this weblink and see. This is for single movies not trilogies, and over all box office.
