Exactly how many brothers did Archie have?

he had the one on today. I think his name was Fred. I know Archie said he had a sister once but I might be thinking of Edith.

I saw that episode today, that is why I am asking. I recall there was one brother that had a daughter that visited Archie.

His name was also Fred, so I'm guessing it's the same brother. :) (From episode "Lionel Steps Out.") I'm not sure if Archie had any other siblings...Fred is the only one who pops out at me at the moment.

In an early episode Edith mentions to Archie about his sister Alma and brother Phil.

So, there was two brothers: Fred and Phil and a sister: Alma? Archie seemed to not like his siblings. He never really talked about them that much.

That was Fred. Apparently, it had to do with Fred leaving town and Archie is stuck caring for their sick father or something. I know it happened when they were younger. I can't quite remember all the details. Can anybody remember?
