I was thinking about this for the past couple of days. I'm in the market for buying a car and there are so many different types of cars to choose from. But there's several that aren't made anymore. Some that I can think of are:

Chrysler Le Baron
Chrysler Corboda
Pontiac Fiero
Pontiac Le Mans
Ford Pinto
Ford Fairlane
Ford LTD
Mercury Lynx
Mercury Marquis
Chevrolet Chevelle
Chevrolet Chevette
Chevrolet Bel Air
Chevrolet Corvair
Oldsmobile 88
Oldsmobile Ninety Eight
Oldsmobile Toronado
All the AMC cars including Gremlin, Hornet, Pacer, Concord, Matador, etc.
Volkswagon Rabbit
Dodge Dart

There's more but I can't think anymore.

I also forgot the Chevy Nova. For the record, I don't think that Ford made the Edsel. They made a car with the front grill from the Edsel though. How about the Studebaker? Billy Joel mentions it in "We Didn't Start The Fire".

Ford made the Edsel. It was named after Henry Ford's son.
