Just wondering. I've written several scripts, and began a book but never finished it. Actually I wrote several short stories when I was young.

I have written a novel, a spec on the sitcom Married....With Children, and 10 episodes of a sitcom I came up with myself. Have I ever sold any of these things? Nope. I never could find a decent agent. That was a few years ago though....
Now I am seriously putting together a memoir of my younger years, basically a collection of some of the crazy things I have done. When I finish that, I will try a little harder to get that one sold.

Yes, as a matter of fact I have. My first project was a play I wrote in 3rd or 4th grade. I've created over 300 plots for a sitcom I created 9 years ago, but only wrote 1 entire script! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/crazy.gif Anyway, I'm currently working on a 15-20 page story for a creative writing class, just finished an 11 page one, want to start on a fan fic, and would love to write novels after I get out of college.

I've came up with some Game Show ideas. Unfortunately, all of mine involve too high a budget to ever get made . I'm still trying to work to get 1 or 2 as NetGames.
That's about it though.
I may sound dumb but how do you write a script and what do you use ect...

That's pretty cool! Max and cL, writing a script takes time and patience. Before you begin writing, you need to create a plot and characters. And if you get ideas, write them down ASAP so you won't forget them. What I do when I write a script is picture the scene in my mind and try to imagine what would happen based on the plot, characters, etc. Hope this helps.

I'm currently working on a short story. I've written tons of poetry, as well as some songs. My sister has written (or is still in the process of writing) three books. She is trying to get one published as we speak.
Thanks, it helps alot.

You know that the problem that's always plagued me, is that I usually come up with these really cool characters and then I can't think of anything to do with them. It's usually a coming of age story that I start out with, and then it just fails me.
Even if I come across a plot, it's crap.
But then again, one could say "Catcher in the Rye" doesn't REALLY have a plot, so...

Well, I've started 3 story/novel type things but never really worked on them. They might've been short storeis, they could have turned into novels, I dunno. I wrote a few short plays in elementary that were extremely juvenile, but I thought they were cute (one was a Christmas story w/ the birth of baby Jesus, and one was about a dog, a horse, and a cow going to Hawaii...). Recently I came up with an idea for a play but I don't know if I'll do anything. I've also created some really good characters that I might attempt to use for a novel.
It helps alot. ive heard of programs that you use to write a script professionally. Do any of you use those programs, if so which ones. Can some of you maybe e-mail me one of your script to look at so I can get a idea of how to write it. My e-mail is c0rylee@carolina.rr.com

Hmm. Basically fan fics, if you want the truth for scripts, and also in fifth grade I had to write a play based on some book we read that year. (I don't remember what book it was, but mine got a B+). I've written a lot of stories, half of them are unfinished, but my goal's to be a screenwriter. So fan fics yes, scripts, basically no.

I've started a children's novel, gonna be kind of short and easy to read, plot's really understandable, but it's in script form right now, when I'm done I have to convert it. I've started a series of something, it's not a sitcom... I really don't know what it is yet. It looks like it should be on Disney or something. Check out my website, www.danielles-teen-scene.cityslide.com (http://www.danielles-teen-scene.cityslide.com) and look at From the Files of Becky Schafer. I'm changing it around, I've written two different versions, and I posted the wrong one. I have an idea for a sitcom, but I haven't developed it yet. And I write fanfics, as most of you probably know, http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/lol.gif. If you really, seriously didn't know, check out the FOL fanfic and the TD fanfic board, ko? kk. Adios, mi amigos and chicas, someone might be calling me about Brookshire.

I start on them but I never finish. See, I can think it, bout don't like typeing it down. I think the reason is it's to serious. I like writing comedy more, as you can see in the TCFF board.
