3 of My Cousins in Russia Got a Job in Alberta

They'll be moving to Red Deer, Alberta in August to work for Shell Oil. They sounded pretty excited when they got their Employment Authroization last week. Looks like I'll have to help them find an apartment or some place to rent in Red Deer. :)

I wish them well, and there is a lot of oppertitunities out here. I like Alberta too. Hopefully they'll pass the word on to their friends if they're sucessful. :)

My one cousin, Sveta, sort of brags about a "Canadian Dream". That's alright, but I want her to prove it. I see her on various Russian message boards bragging about starting a new life in Canada.

I don't want her to get this way over her head. Yes, it's good to be confident about yourself, but you also need a good head on your shoulders when it comes to relocating to a new country.

I keep telling her this, but she is still living on Cloud 9. I hope she starts to get serious for herself eventually.
