9/11/01 is a day I don't really want to remember, but I remember it SOOOOOOO vividly. I even remember what clothes I was wearing that day (gray shirt w/ a bald eagle in front of a USA flag and jeans). It was also Homecoming week @ my HS, if I recall.
The spring of 2001 was just as crazy for me...a cousin of mine was diagnosed w/ cancer but fortunately, the docs caught it early so my cousin has been cancer-free for 5 1/2 years now. :)
2001 was okay. I liked 2002, 2003 and 2004 better though. As far as 2005 is concerned...well, the past is the past.
I loved 2002...I went to DC that spring and started my senior year that fall. 2003 was a pretty sucky year for me...Eh. 2004 was a lot of fun, but the end of that year sucked also. I really liked 2005 too and I've loved this year so far.

So have I. It took me 3 years to get to 38,000 posts and a lot of that was because of all those Random threads we used to have. It would probably take me 6 years to get to the same number today if I was lucky.

Uh, I think the highest number of posts I made in a day was like 80-100. It took me 6½ months to get 6,000 posts because I reached 10,000 during Thanksgiving week. I could be posting at the same rate as them, but sometimes they talk about lame stuff that I don't give a damn about.

 I liked the NBC episodes...but what can I say, I watched The Family sketches on The Carol Burnett Show. The MF NBC episodes (seasons 1 and 2) have a lot of similarities to the sketch version. The sketches were a major hit on TCBS in the 1970s, but it didn't fare too well in the early/mid-1980s, so it was cancelled in 1984 and came back in syndication in 1986...A lot different from the NBC episodes.
But I digress. I'm just being a nerd. ;) I like both versions equally, although Iola annoyed the hell out of me. She still does.

You would think they would hurry up with the Home Improvement releases. Season 1 came out in November of 2004 and there were, what, two total releases in 2005? This is their first release of 2006, if I'm on the right track. That's crazy...There's still four more seasons left to release. Buena Vista needs to get on it, because 5 out of 7 seasons of Golden Girls has already been released, and I wouldn't be surprised if they release seasons 6 and 7 before the year is out.
Sorry about that, I went off track there. Anyway, YAY for Home Improvement! Even though I don't watch it anymore. :D

Paramount needs to kick things up a notch with their DVD releases. They've been good to MacGyver (timeline below), but they've been slower with Cheers and some other TV shows.
MacGyver
Season 1: January 25, 2005
Season 2: June 7, 2005
Season 3: September 6, 2005
Season 4: December 6, 2005
Season 5: March 14, 2006
Season 6: June 13, 2006
Season 7: October ??, 2006
Cheers
Season 1: May 20, 2003
Season 2: January 6, 2004
Season 3: May 25, 2004
Season 4: February 1, 2005
Season 5: May 17, 2005
Season 6: September 13, 2005
Season 7: November 15, 2005
Season 8: June 13, 2006
Season 9: **** if I know
Season 10: **** if I know
Season 11: **** if I know
COME ON, PARAMOUNT!!!! You only have THREE SEASONS left to release! Get the ball moving on it! I want Season 9 in September and Season 10 before Christmas, with the 11th season in 2007. HURRY UP. I don't care about bonuses, just release the damn seasons already.
I am SOOOOOOOO happy that Sony FINALLY got the ball moving on Mary Tyler Moore. They released the first season back in 2002  and just released the 2nd season last summer. The 3rd came out in January, and the 4th is coming out in two weeks I think. I wonder when the other three seasons are going to be released.

- Princess Di was killed in that car accident the week after I started 7th grade
- Chris Farley OD'd and died
- Phil Hartman was murdered
- Seinfeld ended that year
And a few other things I'm forgetting right now. It doesn't seem like it's been nearly a decade since Princess Di died...I still vividly remember hearing about it AND I still remember when her funeral was broadcast live. :(
And remember when JFK Jr. died? That was really sad. :( I still have the articles I cut out of the newspaper when that first happened...and I seem to remember they cremated him and scattered his ashes at sea...I could be wrong though. I watched his memorial service on TV as well.
