Any TV or movie characters, past or present, who could be cast as teachers you've had?
Miss Landers: My sixth grade teacher.
Lou Grant: My seventh grade English teacher.
Floyd the Barber: My ninth grade P.E. teacher.
Maude: My eighth grade social studies teacher.
Miss Jane: My ninth grade English teacher.
Coach Norman Dale: Hoosiers (Gene Hackman): My 11th grade U.S. History teacher

interesting, I've never thought about that. But, now that I do, Miss landers from LEAVE IT TO BEAVER could have been my 9th grade english teacher, Aunt Bee from THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW could have been my 8th grade english teacher, and Andy Taylor could have been my 7th grade gym teacher.

i didnt have her for my teacher but there was a teacher in my school when i was in first grade who was like maude with the booming voice and loud pushy manner except and in a way this was kind of sad .unlike maude who was liked by most people in spite of her abarsiveness this teacher was not liked by anyone in the school not studdents not the other teachers not even the princapal but it was mainly because she had been a teacher for about 40 years by that point and thought she knew everything and would try to tell the other teachers how to do there jobs instead of teaching her own class

Bat Masterson (Gene Barry) - My 5th grade teacher
Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) - My college dean
The former bore a striking physical resemblance to Gene Barry (then, in 1959,
the star of BAT MASTERSON). The latter's southern accent was virtually
identical to that of Andy Griffith.
