Comments:
"24" finishes in 24th place! How weird is that?
"American Idol" finishes in first for the 2nd season in a row.
The best finish for a new series was 7th by "Dancing With The Stars".
Bad news for sitcom lovers. "Two and a Half Men" was the highest ranking comedy, but it only came in at #17, the lowest-ever finish for a top-rated sitcom in one season.

More comments:
"Old Christine" was the highest-rated new sitcom at #29. Oddly enough, 4 of the next 5 on the chart won't be back.
"The War At Home" and "According To Jim" will be back, despite their awfully low rankings. "Scrubs" will be relegated to mid-season again, which might explain their position.
The biggest disappointment would probably be "Joey", which was supposed to anchor Thursday nights for NBC. Instead, it looks like America dropped anchor on it and abandoned ship! Another candidate might be "Arrested Development". Despite overwhelming critical acclaim and many attempts to save the series, it still finished well behind comedy legends Heather Graham, John Stamos, and Pamela Anderson. Let it go already, people!
