You totally have my sympathy. I used to suffer from real bad insommnia and it was killer. I was practically asleep all day but when I went to bed at night I could NEVER seem to get to sleep. Here's what I advise for anyone with the same problem -

DON'T take sleeping pills. They very rarely work and when they do you may find that you get hooked on them very easily.

Try listening to your walkman or have a radio playing really quietly somewhere in your room.

If you have a TV in your room leave that on really quietly and watch it in your bed till you fall asleep. Watch something really boring like a documantary about bones or something - you'll be asleep in no time!

Hope you feel better soon http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I still suffer from isomnia. It's a killer, but taking pills would just make it worse.

I have this problem too. Only not as bad as urs Devastation26. But like if i go to bed a 10:30PM i usually dont go to sleep til like somewhere after 2:00AM.

I like to leave my tv or music going kinda low and i fall to more easily.

I have the same problem as nancysbiggestfan--it takes me hours to get to sleep even if I'm exhausted. However, I don't really do anything to try to sleep. I'm just used to 4-6 hours of sleep a night now.

Y'all I finally did it. At about 10 central time, I went, laid down on the couch, and didn't get up until 3 (central)
