I guess they are nice names if you live over in Scotland. My husband is of Scottish/Irish/Welsh descent which is why he likes those types of names. I just don't think they would go over too well here in the states. Lachlan just reminds me of Lochness Monster and Tristan is just weird to me. Besides it is too close to Kristin(my name)
I was dead set on using Christine for a girl but probably won't because of it being to close to my own name. Will probably use Justine instead.

I think I'd call my first-born son Julian. I've liked that name since I was 11.

I sometimes fantasise about being older and having some kids; I was thinking yesterday of having four boys (a set of them being twins.) This is how I envisioned it as being:

1st-born = Julian

Twins = Eugene and Maurice

The baby of the family - Andy

Of course, the names Maurice and Andy are inspired by Maurice Gibb and Andy Gibb.
