The show had run its course by the 5th season, but I regard it as one of my favorites because they changed the whole concept of the show. Now the A-Team had to take orders from people (Stockwell), Hanibal was no longer the boss as a result and I think they could have shown them more butting heads. I had no problems with Frankie he brought a new member to the team, but alot of people think it jumped the shark with the new storylines and new cast additions.
It is too bad NBC canceled the series in mid-season and it never had a final episode that could have cleared the A-Team from any wrongdoing during Vietnam.

I agree the show had run out of steam by season 5.
I never cared for the Fankie character, I just don't think he fit in well with the rest of the team. The A-Team were a crack unit that had been through a war together, and here come this newbie who knew how to do special effects as the new member. I did like the storyline of seaon five too. Having the Team blackmailed into doing missions by the mysterious Stockwell to in a sense buy back thier freedom was a good idea.

yeah it was i liked new song2 n new opening credits but i always imagined the A Team doing it on their own n stuff glad Murdock finally got out of the nuthouse by then and started acting kind normal.but one think i alwyas wonderd who in the world was that blonde haird woman working for stockwell.

oh yeah and if anyone saw last episode it kind of is1 but it is in bad taste they leave stockwell and go to work for the neighborhodd for free kind like neighborhood watch group.if u ask me they deserved more. then that.
I quite liked it. It was an interesting change of direction, the opening 3 parter was surprisingly dramatic, and Stockwell was cool.
Coulda lived without Frankie, though.

I didn't really like the last season outside of the 3 part season premiere. They should have made that the final episode.
