This may be a dumb question, but what's the most you ever spent on one video or DVD? I just shelled out $60 for 1 video tape (a rare one, that's why it was that much) and wondered if anyone was as obsessive as me about TV shows/movies/whatever.

about $40.00--WCW wrestling tapes from the early 90's are very expensive! And the price keeps going up on amazon.com.:-(

Waaaaay back in the day (early 80s), videos were not cheap. I remember some videos costing in excess of $75.
Now days, I refuse to by videos anymore. As far as a DVD, I don't ever pay more than $30.

The most I've paid for a DVD is £24. That was for the Fight Club special edition 2xDVD set. I'm not sure how much £24 is in dollars though. DVD's are more expensive here than they are in America.
The most I've spent on a C.D. was £23.

I haven't paid a lot for videos or anything, but I spend a fortune on CDs...The most expensive single disc I've ever bought was $42..I don't know how much I've paid for box sets though

I can't really recall spending more than $20 on a tape or DVD, but my mom spent %35 on a used "Monster Squad" tape for my birthday. (It's one of my all time favorite movies).

I recently spent $170.00 for the complete set of Emma Peel episodes of The Avengers on DVD.
That would be a little over $10.50 each for 16 DVDs.

I love The Little Rascals. I have a bunch of their videos. Wheezer is my favorite character. Anyway, I've only recently started my DVD collection. My most expensive one is The Simpsons 1st season. It cost $35
